Denchu Hiragushi played a important role in the modern history of
Japanese sculpture and collected works by his colleagues and his juniors.
This exhibition shows works from his collection
which was donated to Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music
where he acted as professor from 1944 to 1952.
