This exhibition presents the conservation treatment of works painted by Taiwanese master artist, Chen Cheng-Po (1895-1947), a collaborative effort between the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate Department of Conservation, Conservation Course Oil Painting Laboratory and the National Taiwan Normal University, College of Arts, Research Center for Conservation of Cultural Relics, whom together carried out the treatment of a total of thirty-six works of art. After undergoing conservation treatment these previously damaged works of art have once again regained their original charm. |
