Organized by Japanese Painting LabⅡ, Tokyo University of the Arts
Supported by Geidai Friends
Every year, the Second Japanese Painting Laboratory of the Graduate School holds an exhibition of drawings as a part of its regular classes. Students and faculty members of the laboratory bring their "drawings" to the exhibition.
This year's theme is "The Connection between Drawings and Paintings," and the exhibition will include drawings directly related to the production process, record drawings created and recorded from the viewpoint of each artist, and images of the original paintings. In addition, drawings and drawings related to "The Hill" by Kobayashi Kokei, owned by the University Art Museum, will also be exhibited. We hope you will visit the exhibition to actually see them up close and personal.
