A chronological record of the life of FOUJITA Tsuguharu (1886-1968), 『藤田嗣治 日々の記録（FOUJITA Tsuguharu: Hibi no Kiroku）』(PDF version), is now available on the museum's website. This chronological record is based mainly on the 「藤田嗣治資料（FOUJITA Tsuguharu Papers）」（教育研究資料（Research Materials）3）donated to the museum in bulk (total 5,808 items), and is woven in such a way as to reveal the artist's daily life as a painter by reading the descriptions in his precious diaries from 1930 to 1968 (excluding 1941-46). We hope that the release of this PDF version will contribute not only to the study of the artist, but also to the study of history, society, and culture in general.
